The Elisa Gastellum Memorial Foundation was established to encourage students to pursue their dreams in music. It honors the memory of Elisa Gastellum, Mariachi standout, whose dream was to record a CD. Fulfilling that dream is "Memorias" in which various tappings of Gastellum’s voice are joined with mariachi artists including Mariachi Cobre. Proceeds from the sales of the CD benefit the foundation.
